As we bid farewell to 2023, I am filled with gratitude and a deep sense of appreciation for each and every one of you who has supported our farm fresh eggs initiative in Kissimmee, FL.
Your unwavering encouragement and patronage have been the driving force behind the success and growth of Princess Flock throughout the years.
It's incredible to reflect on the journey we've taken since the Pandemic in 2020 when Princess Flock began with just a small flock of 12 adult laying hens.
Your support has motivated us to work tirelessly, year after year, leading us to where we are today.
The community spirit and enthusiasm for our farm fresh eggs have propelled us to expand our operations, and I am genuinely grateful for the trust you've placed in us.
In the pursuit of continuous improvement, I, Wagner Krohling, the owner of Princess Flock, undertook a poultry management course at the University of Florida/ Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences. Additionally, I became a member of the American Pastured Poultry Producers Association, ensuring that Princess Flock benefits from both academic knowledge and real-life insights from chicken farmers across the country.
The first semester of 2023 marked a significant milestone as our farm received its largest lot of baby chicks to meet the growing demand for Princess Flock farm fresh eggs. These 600 new baby chicks have now matured into egg-laying adults, contributing to the abundance of high-quality eggs we are proud to offer.
To accommodate this growth, we constructed a new chicken coop with innovative features like a semi-automatic drinking system and a roll-away nesting box system. Importantly, 80% of the materials used were sourced from reusable wood found at the construction site just in front of the farm—a testament to our commitment to sustainability.
Ensuring the well-being of our chickens remains a top priority, and your support allows us to provide them with a happy and healthy environment.
Looking ahead to 2024, we have exciting plans to enhance your experience with Princess Flock. We encourage you to place your fresh egg orders in advance, helping us plan and work efficiently.
Additionally, we are working towards implementing a recurrent payment method on our website to streamline the subscription process, providing you with a hassle-free experience.
In our ongoing commitment to healthier eating habits, our biannual plan for 2024/2025 includes the introduction of organic cassava/yucca, coconut, and various fruits, alongside fresh local honey. We aspire to be your go-to source for nutritious and delicious fresh food.
As we embark on these initiatives, I want to express my sincere thanks for being an integral part of the Princess Flock community. Your support has been instrumental in our success, and we look forward to sharing an even more fulfilling journey with you in the coming years.
